Rocky Mountain House Wedding in a stunning backyard

Getting Ready

This stunning Rocky Mountain House wedding started perfectly surrounded by her closest friends, family. The hair and makeup was done by Kyra Dawn Makeup Artistry and Kryshandra Pike Hair. Vanessa kicked off the festivities with the sweetest first look between her daughter and dad. The beginning of the day is always one of my favourite parts of the wedding. You can truly feel the anticipation and excitement in the air!

Ceremony Rocky Mountain House Wedding

The ceremony was held in the backyard of Peter’s family farm the perfect spot for a Rocky Mountain House wedding. Homemade benches surrounding the gorgeous arch decorated with beautiful flowers by Sandalwood Flowers in Sylvan Lake. The guests were seated and the ceremony started with Peter and the groomsmen dancing down the aisle, followed by the bridesmaids before the antique doors were closed. The guests spoke well wishes into the rings as they were passed around in a touching tradition while Vanessa and Peter exchanged personalized vows.

Once all the I do’s were said we were off to some of the most fun bridal party photos that I have been a part of. Vanessa suggested a beer race and that was the best idea ever! One of the best ways to get those wonderful moments is to really be yourselves and come up with something fun to do together. I’m here to create with you and will help you with anything you can dream up!

Reception

This was one of the best parties of the year! Between the pinata cake, icing of the groomsmen and the all-out dancing it was a celebration for the books! The evening started out with the most epic Bridal Party entrance followed by a delicious dinner. Speeches were up next bringing everyone to tears followed by the moving first dances. As the formal festivities wrapped up everyone took up the dance to dance all night along!
